We are blessed to raise our children and grow up in a society with many social services and health care programs. In the 1960s, Canada introduced the welfare state, programs that provided our citizens social assistance, income support, and a vast array of exceptional health care services. Our pets are part of our families, and so we treat them as such. The Nals Foundation for Paws provides minimum welfare for our pets in less than desirable circumstances. A life is a life, and so it should be considered identical. We (the Foundation) have made this our mission.
